The Sea Hawk FGA.4 represents the first of the fighter-ground-attack models for this series. You may notice a difference in handling due to the payloads on the armed versions of the model. The FGA.4 was still fitted with the RR Nene Mk.101 engine, supplying 5,000lb thrust, and was configured for a variety of payloads of increasing weight, including droptanks, 25lb and 60lb rockets and 500lb GP bombs. The reality of this was the type was underpowered to carry these extra weights, and acted as in intermim solution until the later FGA.6 was produced.
Points of recognition for the FGA.4 include underwing payloads, lack of radio altimeter aerials under the tailplane, but the inclusion of the small ram intake on the starboard forward fuselage. It also had an array of UHF radio aerial antennae on the fuselage spine, and small IFF stubs as opposed to the large F.1/2 'blade' type. Lastly, the nose bay door landing light was still not present.
